Trade Fair for Water and Sanitation Utilities - HydroSilesia 2011

This is already the third time that Dr. Jan Skowronek,
Director of the Institute for Ecology of Industrial Areas in
Katowice takes the honorary patronage of the Trade Fair for
Water and Sanitation Utilities – HydroSilesia 2011, which
will be held on 13 - 14 October 2011. This important event,
which is devoted to current issues of water management, will
be organized in a modern trade fair and exhibition center
ExpoSilesia in Sosnowiec. It will be accompanied by a number
of meetings, seminars, and conferences in which
representatives of scientific and technical institutions,
producers, suppliers and contractors from water supply and
sewage industry as well as designers of sewage treatment
plants will take part. |
The thematic scope of the
event includes: designing and producing modern solutions for
technological water and sewage treatment systems, utilization and
ecological management of sewage sludge, technical methods for
restoring the functionality of water supply and sewage networks,
devices, equipment and accessories used in water supply and sewage
laboratories, surface and groundwater quality monitoring, methods
for rainwater management, etc. Other issues addressed during the
fair trade will be promotion of scientific research results and
modern technologies for protection of water resources ensuring
safety of water supplies and improvement of water quality.
